The Gatewood PTA in an independent 501(c)3 organization dedicated to meeting the needs and advancing the interests of the students, teachers, and parents of Gatewood Elementary School and its surrounding community.
Gator Gallery
Check out these thriving salmon, being cared for by Mr. Revello's class! You can find them on the main floor of the school, just down the hall from the main office or learn more about the project at SISseattle.org

If your kiddo would like to see their work (photos, drawings, music, anything!) featured, send us a photo of their art!

Monthly Bonus
This Monthly Bonus is titled “Earth Day reading of Our Planet! There’s No Place Like Earth”. This book, written by Stacy McAnulty and illustrated by David Litchfield, is a part of the Our Universe series. It gives the Earth a voice to teach us fun facts about our planet including how humans have accidentally moved climate change into the fast lane. With this reading I encourage students to look for ways that they can “invest in our planet” including taking part in the school-wide challenge to pick up at least 10 pieces of trash from outside. The book will be donated to the school library if students wish to explore the pages for themselves or read it with their friends and family.
